COVID-19 exposure

We wanted to inform our community that a grade 6 student has been identified as testing positive for COVID-19 at LWMS. The student is a member of the Blue Fin Team.
Interior Health has completed its follow up and advises that no further action required by the school. Interior Health has reached out to the individual, and any identified close contacts, to provide recommendations. If your child was deemed at an increased risk, you would have been contacted!
If there are any further developments, Interior Health will alert us and we will communicate with our families. Thank you for continuing to be diligent about health checks and following the mask mandate. Your care for the safety of all our students is greatly appreciated.
