COVID-19 UPDATE

On February 4th, we received an updated Provincial COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines for K-12 Setting. This 53 page document will inform our changes at LWMS. We will be updating our Health and Safety Plan.
Over the next few weeks we will be informing our community of the changes we need to make to be in compliance with the provincial directions. There are changes needed in PE, Band and with physical distancing.
As of Friday, Feb. 5th, we are requiring masks for all students and adults inside, unless they are eating or drinking or sitting in their personal desk. Band students do not need to wear masks and we are looking at options so masks are not required in PE unless it is a low intensity activity.

Our community has been amazing supporting the COVID practices. We are grateful we are working together to keep LWMS safe for our students and staff!
