Farewell Grade 8’s!

We are sad to say goodbye to our current grade 8 students. It is especially sad as we did not have term three with all of our students and we did not have the opportunity to do our usual year end activities. The relationships we form with our students are special and we want to honor our time together! We were trying to plan something meaningful and include a lasting legacy for them, to honor their time at LWMS.

On June 24, our grade 7/8 Teachers will be delivering a special gift to each of the students.  A huge thank you to PAC for paying for this special gift! Staff will go directly to the student’s home and will give the students some words of wisdom.  The words of wisdom are a LWMS tradition!

In addition, we are going to plant a Lilac Tree and have a plaque by our new Outdoor Learning Circle. The plaque will read “LWMS Class of 2020”.   We are excited to end our year with a personal visit with each grade 8 student!!!
