Welcome Back to Len Wood Middle School

We hope that all of you had a great summer. We are very excited about our students returning and are getting ready to welcome them back to Len Wood Middle School for the 2022-23 year.

The first day of school for students is Wednesday September 7th. Unlike previous years, this will be a full day for students so please plan accordingly. We will have class lists posted outside indicating which classrooms students will be starting their day in. We will also have staff outside greeting students and helping them to figure out where they will be starting their day. Please be aware that the drop off and pickup area for Len Wood students is across the road from the school in the Pleasant Valley Secondary School parking lot. We have a crossing guard to help ensure student safety as they cross the road.
We will have secretarial and administrative staff in the building from Tuesday August 30th through Friday September 2nd to assist families with registrations or any other issues that they may have. Monday September 5th is a holiday and Tuesday September 6th is a Professional Development Day. Limited assistance will be available on Tuesday September 6th, so we are recommending that families come in the week before if they require assistance.
